Dead City Ruins are an Australian hard rock band hailing from Melbourne, Victoria. Led by frontman Jake Wiffen, also credited as the band's solemn songwriter, Dead City Ruins are known for their expansive and epic riffs. They've earned comparisons to the likes of Soundgarden and Motorhead. With three albums and two EPs under their belt, they have also earned considerable success in Europe, Australia and the U.S. Notably, their third album Never Say Die featured gust appearances by John Sykes (Thin Lizzy), Snake Sabo (Skid Row) and Steve Saluto (Bullet Boys). The band is currently touring Australia and Europe to promote their latest single, "Alive & Dying".
