Del Barber is a Canadian singer-songwriter originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Initially, he started writing music in his teenage years when he taught himself the guitar. He released his debut album 'Prairieography' in 2010, which garnered him much critical acclaim from Canadian outlets. His work has been heavily influenced by the stories of his Prairies hometown, focusing on issues of small-town rural life, ranging from the joys to difficult topics like loneliness and alienation. His releases in the past ten years have been met with both commercial and critical success, including seven Juno Award nominations. In 2019 Del Barber released his sixth studio album 'Easy Keeper'.
