DJ Godfather is an American DJ, producer, and rapper from Detroit, Michigan. He is best known for producing Ghettotech and Electro music and has released over 16 albums in his 20+ year career. He first began DJing at the age of 13 and at 17 he began producing Ghettotech music. He co-founded the music label Databass Records in 1998, and has since collaborated with many successful artists, including MikeE, K Sera, and Brian Gillespie. He is a regular act at leading nightclubs and is the co-founder of the Detroit Summer parties. He has toured all over North America, Europe, and Asia.
