Downsyde is an Australian rap group from Perth, WA, originally consisting of Dazastah, Adsy, Frataun, Solace and Hydro. Formed in 1997, they quickly made a name for themselves in the Australian hip-hop scene, performing at many mainstream music festivals and gaining recognition from both the music world and the public. Their debut album, "Lifestyle", was released in 2001 and their 2006 follow-up LP, "House of the Roots" entered the top 10 on the ARIA album chart. Since then they have released singles, collaborations and mixtapes, as well as the 2016 album "Dreamers Never Die". They remain a respected name in Australia and continue to bring their unique brand of hip-hop to fans all over the world.
