Drab Majesty is a Los Angeles-based music project, led by elusive singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Deb Demure. He blends elements of darkwave, dream pop, and post-punk into a unique synth-rock sound characterized by an ethereal, hazy atmosphere. His recordings generally feature minimal instrumentation and often center around slow, brooding rhythms. Demure often uses surreal, poetic visuals and mysticism-infused lyrics to create a mesmerizing, dream-like atmosphere. Drab Majesty has released three studio albums since 2015, all of which have been acclaimed by music critics and have seen considerable success.
