Extortion tickets

Extortion is an Australian hardcore punk band from Melbourne that was formed in 1983. The original line-up included vocalist Ian Krahe, bassist Steve Fulcher, guitarist Wilbur Wilde and drummer Dean Muller. The band rose to fame through their fast-paced hardcore punk stylings and the rise to prominence of alternative music in 1980s Australia. They broke up in 1991, reforming again in 2015. Extortion released five studio albums, five EPs, two singles and two compilations throughout their career. Some of their singles became somewhat of an anthem within their community, and their popularity has remained firm to this day. The band has toured Australia, the United States and Europe as well as played numerous music festivals.
