Felix, also known as Felix the Housecat, is an American electronic musician. His musical career began in the mid 1990s and, with genre-bending records such as 'Kittenz & Thee Glitz', he created a style of house and dance music that has been influential on the electronic music scene. Felix drew inspiration from a variety of sources ranging from the classic sounds of Italian disco, classic house, Detroit techno, and Chicago house music. He has released 8 studio albums and has collaborated with a variety of artists including Fischerspooner, Britney Spears, Deep Dish, Dusty Springfield and Roger Sanchez. He has appeared as a guest DJ on numerous radio shows and his music has been featured in films such as House of Wax and Queen of the Damned. Felix continues to release new music and is widely credited for his contribution to electronic music.
