Fiddlehead is an American post-hardcore outfit hailing from Amherst, Massachusetts, whose sound is characterized by melodic guitar work, emotionally-charged lyrics, and an overall aggressive approach. Formed in 2013, they released their debut EP, Springtime and Blind, the same year. In 2015, their debut full-length, Out of Bloom, was released by Run for Cover records and received critical acclaim for its progressive songwriting and seamless layering of textures. Since then, the band has continued to play around the U.S, bringing their refined blend of post-hardcore, emo, and alternative to crowds of adoring fans. 2019 saw the band release a four-track EP, Meander, and they are set to release their second full-length album, very properly titled "Unearth", in early 2020.
