Fit for a King is an American metalcore band from Tyler, Texas. Formed in 2007, the band started off playing around Texas and recorded their debut album in 2009. After signing to Solid State Records in 2012, Fit For a King released their second album Creation/Destruction, which gained them the attention of many metal fans. Since then, all of their full-length albums, such as Slave to Nothing, Descendants, and Dark Skies, showcase their craftsmanship in metalcore that has put them in a strong lead as innovators in the scene. These albums depict raw yet melodic, heavy yet intricate sounds that truly capture the spirit of metal. While they have been successful in the metal scene, Fit for a King is always pushing their sound to new heights and striving to excel.
