G. Love & Special Sauce is an alternative hip-hop band, led by vocalist and guitarist Garrett "G. Love" Dutton. Formed in Philadelphia in 1993, the group blends traditional blues, folk and hip hop with influences of R&B and rock. The band consists of Dutton, drummer Jeffrey Clemens (aka Houseman) and bassist Jim Prescott (aka Jimi Jazz).

Throughout their career, G. Love & Special Sauce has released 11 studio albums, featuring several Billboard charting singles including "Cold Beverage,""Baby's Got Sauce" and "Hot Cookin". The group has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe. They have collaborated with many prominent musicians, including Jack Johnson, Ozomatli and the Avett Brothers. G. Love & Special Sauce has earned a loyal fan-base for their unique musical style and entertaining live performances.
