Gwilym Bowen Rhys is an artist and musician from North Wales. He is inspired by Welsh folk music, electronica, and sensuous textures. With his solo work he has explored an eclectic range of sounds, textures and ideas. In 2019 he released his album “Hiraeth”, which was written over a three year period while he traveled and performed around the world. Gwilym has also collaborated with numerous artists including jazz musician Jamie Cullum, composer Max Richter, and the same-sex choir Prima. He continues to collaborate and host live events while composing music for film and television.
