Gyroscope is a post-grunge rock band that originated in Perth, Australia. Formed in 1997, the band has released four studio albums, two live albums and numerous singles and EPs. Gyroscope achieved commercial success with singles such as “Snakeskin”, “Fast Girl” and “What You Do For Money”. Their biggest hit so far has been “Electric Blue”. It was featured in the soundtrack of the 2011 movie Arthur and aired on radio across Australia. Gyroscope have supported acts such as Muse and The Living End on tour, and they headlined the Big Day Out Festival in 2009. Gyroscope are an established name on the Australian rock scene, and they continue to tour often within Australia and to other countries.
