Inferi is an American melodic death metal band founded in 2008 by Malcolm Pugh. They hail from Nashville, Tennessee. Fusing elements of thrash, traditional death metal, and progressive metal together, Inferi has carved out a unique sonic footprint for themselves on the modern metal landscape. Their lineup has been steadily evolving over the years, resulting in an ever-growing richness of sounds as well as the song writing process. Inferi have released several full-length albums and multiple EPs over the course of their accomplished career. Their most recent effort, “Revenant,” was released in 2019 and received critical acclaim for its combination of technicality, ambitious song structure, and melancholic atmosphere. Inferi continues to tour extensively in support of their releases, bringing their melodic death metal vision to audiences around the globe.
