About Interpol
Hailing from New York City, Interpol formed as New York indie group that emerged as a post-punk era of the 2000s. Their album debut 'Turn On The Bright Lights" was an indie music renewal with punk layered deep within their tracks. Pitchfork ranked it as the number one album of 2002. With an already highly acclaimed album, Interpol managed to rank up further reviews and acclaim from reputable media outputs such as Rolling Stone, Time. Not only did they explode commercially, but their music maintained the same tonality and indie feel.
The group's members are always looking for musical challenges, working on side projects with the likes of the Wu-Tang Clan. As the band's exposure grew, they've played renowned festivals such as Loalpaollza or Coachella and selling over a million albums worldwide.
