Jack Ladder is an Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has been a major figure in the post-punk and indie music scenes since the late 2000s. He has released five studio albums since 2009, exploring a range of genres that includes dreamy folk-rock, indie-pop, alt-rock and occasional metallic guitar crunch. His most recent record, 2018's Blue Poles, sent Ladder on a run of sold-out US shows and performances at some of the world's biggest music festivals. In addition to his own work, Ladder has collaborated with esteemed producer Flood and other esteemed names such as Kevin Parker, Benji Lysaght, and Kirin J Callinan. His carefully-crafted melodies and eclectic, anthemic arrangement continue to make him one of auteur-pop's most visionary voices.
