Jah Khalib is an independent music artist from Moscow, Russia, of Cape-Verdean and Togolese descent. He is best known for his 2016 hit single “Leila”, and he is very popular in Russia and throughout Central and Eastern Europe. He is strongly influenced by a variety of genres, such as hip-hop, reggae, and R&B. He has been making music for over 15 years, releasing three studio albums since 2013. His most successful album, “Mary Jane”, was also his most successful, earning triple-platinum status in his native Russia. Jah Khalib is also widely known for his powerful and emotional live performances, which often feature a band and dancers. He continues to tour and release new material, making him one of Russia’s most popular artists.
