Jay Haze is a German multi-instrumentalist, producer, and DJ based in Berlin. He is renowned for his eclecticism, often incorporating elements of house, techno, reggae, dub and world music into his productions. He began releasing original material in 2003 on labels such as Contexterrior and Tuning Spork and has since released numerous 12"s and albums on a variety of respected imprints including Cocoon Recordings and Get Physical. In addition to releases under his own name, he has produced and remixed tracks for some of the biggest names in dance music including the likes of Modeselektor and Ricardo Villalobos. Jay Haze is also the founder and owner of labels Contexterrior, Tuning Spork, and Bride Of Noize.

He has performed regularly around the world; including key performances at Tresor, PS1 in New York and Burning Man in the United States, and at clubs such as Fabric
