Jimmy Eat World was formed in 1993 in Messa, Arizona, and maintained the emo direction in the sound for the entirety of their journey. Not many bands last the test of time, yet the group has kept the same composition since 1995.
Çharacterized by pop, yet defined by the emo current, Jimmy Eat World has ridden the rock music rollercoaster for more than two decades. Songs such as Pain or Bleed American are one of the genres most recognizable tracks and still hold a cherished place in young people's hearts.
Their 2011 album, "Bleed American," was their ticket to stardom. Four of singles reached the Alternative Chart while "The Middle" topped the chart the same year.
Their 10th studio album, released in 2019, is a declaration that, despite the emo genre reaching a standstill, the group managed to create quality music for their relentless fans.
