Joanna Connor Band is an American rock and blues band led by its namesake, singer/songwriter/guitarist, Joanna Connor. The band formed in 1994 and has toured extensively across the United States, Canada, and Europe. Joanna Connor Band has recorded several albums, often covering blues classics as well as a handful of original tracks written by Joanna Connor. They have been featured on television shows such as the Late Show with David Letterman and the Woodsongs Old Time Radio Show. Joanna Connor Band is known for its energetic and powerful live performances, described by critics as “heartfelt blues from a great artist.” Joanna Connor herself is widely regarded as one of the premier women blues guitarists, and has been featured in many documentaries and publications about her life and music.
