John Barera is a prolific American electronic music producer and DJ. Hailing from Boston, Barera has been producing and DJing experimental techno and deep house since 2008. He has had releases on respected labels such as Drumcode, Kneaded Pains, Osunlade’s Yoruba Records, and Kevin Saunderson’s KMS.



Barera is also part of the duo Brawthers, along with fellow DJ and producer Steven Julien (FunkinEven). As a duo, they have become known for deep and soulful dance music, releasing 12”s on labels such as Aus Music, Wolf Music, and Delusions Of Grandeur.



Barera is also the co-founder of the Boston-based record label Body Language which, since 2010, has released music from artists such as Jordan GCZ, Frankey & Sandrino, Cora Novoa, and many more. He
