About John Paul Young

John Paul Young is an acclaimed singer who climbed to fame in Australia in the mid 70s. He is best known for his hit song "Love Is in the Air", which topped the Australian charts and went platinum in 1978. He has released over 13 studio albums throughout his career, ranging from pop to country to more experimental rock-infused material. Young has received two ARIA Awards for Best Pop Release and Best Male Artist and was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2009. Throughout his career he has performed extensively in Australia and New Zealand as well as in Europe and the United States. Recently, Young has released a greatest hits album titled 'The Very Best Of John Paul Young', in celebration of his ever-growing legacy.
