Jonah Kagen is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Oak Park, Illinois. He studied jazz and popular music at the New School in New York City and draws inspiration from a variety of musical styles, including jazz, folk, rock, and R&B. Since 2014, he has released four full-length albums as well as a number of singles and EPs. His songwriting explores themes of faith, love, and relationships with a sound that combines elements of pop, blues, and folk. He regularly tours the United States, often touring with his band, the Jonah Kagen Group. Along with performing, he teaches a master class on songwriting and has advised students on their musical journey with lecture tours to universities and high schools across the country.
