Joyce Manor is an American punk rock band from Torrance, California, formed in 2008. The quintet consists of Barry Johnson (vocals, guitar), Chase Knobbe (guitar), Jeff Enzor (drums), Pat Ware (bass) and Matt Ebert (guitar). They are known for writing emotionally and musically aggressive punk songs with an antidogmatic approach. Throughout their career they have released five full-length albums and four splits, and are considered a major force in the development of the emo revival genre. They have toured extensively in the US and Europe, performing alongside acts such as The Front Bottoms, Joyce Manor's highly praised third album, Never Alone, was released in 2014 and contained more refined songwriting and instrumental arrangements. The band followed the release up with Cody (2016), and Million Dollar Money Man (2018), their more ambitious and accessible studio effort.
