KT Tunstall is a Scottish singer-songwriter who rose to international fame with her 2004 debut album, Eye To The Telescope. Her breakthrough single, "Black Horse and The Cherry Tree", was a Top 40 hit in several countries and has since become an iconic part of her oeuvre. With three other highly successful albums, KT established herself as one of the most renowned artists of her generation. She plays a variety of genres including pop, blues, folk and alternative music. KT has also collaborated with a myriad of artists, from British alternative rock band Biffy Clyro to American rocker Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam. Her style has won her multiple awards, including a BRIT Award and a Grammy nomination. In 2010, she was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire for her contributions to music and culture.
