Lil Skies is an American rapper from Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. His real name is Kimetrius Foose and he began his music career in 2015. He caught the attention of the music industry in 2017 when his single “Red Roses” featuring Landon Cube peaked at number 43 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He has since appeared on high charting collaborations with artists such as Gucci Mane, Gunna, Rich The Kid, and Lil Durk. In 2018 his debut album "Life of a Dark Rose" reached the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart. He has continued to release singles and EPs and has gained a huge following on streaming services. In 2021 he released his second album "Unbothered" which charted at number nine on the Billboard 200 chart and was met with positive reviews.
