Marie Montexier is an award-winning French jazz pianist, composer, and arranger. She has released four albums since the beginning of her career in 2010 with her quintet. Her debut album, 'Métamorphose' earned her the prestigious Adami award and the September 2009 'Choc' Award from Jazz Magazine. Montexier has gone on to explore styles from classical to jazz, from contemporary to chanson, drawing inspiration from each to create a unique sound. She has played with great artists including Avishai Cohen, Martial Solal, and Vincent Peirani. She has toured extensively throughout Europe and been invited to headline festivals from the London Jazz Festival to the Noci Jazz event in Italy. Montexier continues to bring an exciting blend of classic and contemporary sounds to her live performances.
