Motor Ace is a rock band from Melbourne, Australia that was formed in 1997 by Patrick Robertson, Damien Massingham, and Toby Andersen. The band achieved mainstream success in their homeland with their debut album "Five Star Laundry" in 2001, which peaked at number 5 on the ARIA album chart. Motor Ace saw success with another two albums, Shoot This (2003) and Animal Magnetic (2005). The trio also had a string of top twenty singles in Australia, including "Carry On", "Dying to Live", and "Palace of Love". Motor Ace split in 2006 and have since reunited for sporadic reunion shows around Australia.
