About Nadine Shah
Nadine Shah is an English singer-songwriter, musician, and producer from Whitburn, South Tyneside. Born to Pakistani parents, she grew up surrounded by music from traditional Pakistani folk songs to western pop. In 2013, she released her debut album, Love Your Dum and Mad, which cemented her place as an independent artist and earned her critical acclaim in the British music scene. In the following years, Shah released two more albums, Fast Food (2015) and Holiday Destination (2017), both of which saw her exploring a range of different themes, from racism to mental health. She also released single tracks of a more experimental nature, with such singles as 'Do You Still Love Me?' and 'Out the Way'. Combining elements of pop, indie rock, post-punk, and folk, Shah's music has gained her a loyal audience, and the singer has frequently performed internationally and at major festivals.
