About Nasty Savage

Nasty Savage is a metal band founded in Florida in 1983 that quickly rose to fame with their intense and innovative sound. They embraced a unique blend of speed metal, traditional metal and thrash styles that made them easily distinguishable from other bands of the era. They released their debut album, Nasty Savage, in 1985, and followed it up with two more albums and a handful of EPs during the '80s. The band saw a bit of a resurgence in the 21st century when they released two albums and performed on a string of shows since 2001. Despite struggling with some personnel changes over the years, Nasty Savage remain an important influence on the metal scene.
