About New Years Day
New Years Day is an American rock band from Anaheim, California, formed in 2005. Led by vocalist Ash Costello, their music is an amalgamation of metal, punk, gothic, and horror influences. They have earned notoriety for their boundary-pushing videos, detailed theatrical live performances and their dark, anthemic sound.
Since their formation, they have released five studio albums, "My Dear," "Victim to Villain," "Malevolence," "Unbreakable" and "Come Out Swinging," as well as several EPs. In addition, their fifth studio album won the Loudwire Music Awards' Best Rock Album of 2020. They have also been nominated for a variety of awards.
