Pilfers is a ska and punk rock band that originated in New York City in 1997. Founded by former Toasters' vocalist Coolie Ranx, the band quickly gained a following with their energetic performances and unique blend of ska, punk, and reggae influences. Key members included guitarist Nick Bacon, bassist Anna Milat-Meyer, drummer James Blanck, and trombonist Vinny Nobile. Pilfers released their debut, self-titled album in 1998 and followed it with "Chawalaleng" in 1999, which further established their imprint on the ska punk scene. After a brief hiatus, they reunited in the mid-2000s, continuing to charm audiences with their infectious sound and dynamic live shows.
