About Reel Big Fish
Reel Big Fish is a ska band based out of Huntington Beach, California. The band was formed in 1992, and soon achieved mainstream success with the album Turn the Radio Off. This album spawned hit songs such as "Sell Out" and "Beer". Over the years, Reel Big Fish has highlighted ska-punk with their signature sound, influenced by punk, ska, and reggae.
The band released eight full length albums, all featuring the upbeat and humorous lyrics as well as their original “offbeat” sound. In the 2000s, they ventured into the punk world with the album Our Live Album Is Better Than Your Live Album. They continued to stay current and draw new fans with albums like Duet All Night Long and Life Sucks…Let’s Dance!
Throughout their career, Reel Big Fish has earned multiple awards and appearances in films, from the 1997 movie Bongwater to the music documentary Hands Off
