Rich Brian, born Brian Imanuel, is an Indonesian rapper, producer, and singer-songwriter. He gained viral success with his 2016 single “Dat Stick”, which briefly made him the youngest person on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, and its success led to a record deal with 88rising. Since then, he has released two albums, Amen and The Sailor, which reached #2 on the US World Albums chart, as well as the single “100 Degrees”, which peaked at #1 on the Spotify Global Viral Chart. He has collaborated with artists such as Diplo, Rhye, and Joji, and has amassed a large fan base on social media, with over 7 million followers on Instagram. He is also an advocate for diversity in the music industry and hopes to help change the perception of Asian artists in rap music.
