About Richard Marx
Richard Marx is an American adult contemporary/pop singer-songwriter who achieved mainstream success in the late-1980s/early-1990s. His self-titled debut album was released in 1987 and spawned several international hit singles, including "Hold on to the Nights," "Should've Known Better," and "Don't Mean Nothing," all reaching the Top 5 in the US. He repeated this success with his second release, 1989's "Repeat Offender," which included the hits "Satisfied" and "Right Here Waiting." Throughout the 1990s, Marx continued to enjoy success as a songwriter for other artists, including singing the theme for Melissa Etheridge's Top 10 hit, "Angels Would Fall." In 1996, the self-penned "Until I Find You Again" hit the Top 20 and was followed by his final Top 10 hit, "Take This Heart."
