Rodrigo Gallardo is a Chilean electronic music producer who has been creating music for over a decade. He combines acoustic and electronic elements with an experimental approach, drawing from Chilean folklore and modern-day electronic music. He has released several albums, EPs, and singles over the years. Gallardo has also collaborated with a plethora of international acts, such as Blockhead, Submotion Orchestra, and Nathan Fake. He has become an increasingly sought-after DJ, playing live in Europe, the United States, Australia, and Japan, as well as his native Chile. He runs a record label, Folclore Urbano, which seeks to promote Chilean electronic and folk music. Through his label and his performances, Gallardo is helping to bring visibility to Chilean electronic music.
