RP Boo, born Kavain Space, is a pioneering figure in the Chicago footwork music genre. Emerging in the late 1990s, he is often credited with laying the groundwork for footwork's distinct, frenetic sound with his innovative use of sampling and rhythm. His seminal track 'Baby Come On' is considered one of the first true footwork tracks. Over his career, RP Boo has continued to push the genre forward, gaining both local and international acclaim. In 2013, he released his debut full-length album 'Legacy' through Planet Mu, bringing greater attention to his influential role in the music scene.
