Sammy Kershaw is a country music singer and songwriter, who got his start in the 1990s. His first two albums, Don't Go Near the Water (1991) and Haunted Heart (1993), both went Gold and produced several Top Ten hits on the country charts. He enjoyed commercial and critical success during the 90s, with songs like "She Don't Know She's Beautiful" and "Queen of My Double Wide Trailer". He has released thirteen albums over the course of his career, and has scored over fifteen Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. He continues to tour around the US playing concerts. Kershaw has also written several autobiographical books, including a memoir published in 2010.
