Santana is a renowned Mexican-American rock band from San Francisco, California. Founded in 1967 by Carlos Santana, the group blended Latin, jazz, blues, rock, and African rhythms to create their signature sound. Over the past five decades, Santana has released 27 studio albums and has achieved immense commercial success, selling more than 100 million albums worldwide.

The band was propelled to international fame with their hit single “Oye Como Va” in 1970 and the album, Abraxas, in 1971. In 1999, Santana earned multiple Grammy Awards for the Supernatural album, which featured several collaborations with major pop stars. They have also performed live at a range of international events including Woodstock, San Remo Festival, Austin City Limits, and Rock in Rio.
