ScHoolboy Q is a rapper from South Central Los Angeles, California. He has been in the rap industry since 2008, releasing several mixtapes and EPs before signing with Top Dawg Entertainment in 2009. In 2011, his debut studio album Setbacks marked his mainstream success, reaching number 100 on the Billboard 200 chart. In 2014, he released his second studio album Oxymoron, peaking at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, becoming the first album by TDE to reach the number one spot.
