About Semisonic
Semisonic is an American rock band formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1995. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Dan Wilson, bassist John Munson, and drummer Jacob Slichter. They achieved mainstream success with their 1998 hit single "Closing Time," which became a defining anthem of the late '90s. Known for their melodic rock sound mixed with introspective lyrics, Semisonic released several albums, including *Feeling Strangely Fine*, before going on hiatus in the early 2000s. The band reunited in the 2010s and continued to perform and release new music, maintaining a loyal fan base.
