Simply Bushed is an Australian country music quintet from the small town of Cowra in New South Wales, Australia. The group consists of five members, including lead singer and songwriter Neil Humphreys and guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Matt Barnett.
Since they formed in 2005, the band has been popular on the Australian country music scene, and has released five albums to date. The albums, including "Banks of the Murrumbidgee" and "The Way It Should Be", have encompassed a range of styles, including bluegrass, traditional country, swing, roots, Americana, and folk rock.
The band has won numerous awards, amongst them, three Golden Guitars at the Tamworth Country Music Awards, and the Toyota Star Maker award. They have also opened for several well-known country artists, including Alan Jackson, John Fogerty, and Travis Tritt.
Simply Bushed continues to tour across Australia,
