Sleeparchive is the moniker of German producer Roger Semsroth, who has worked in many different styles of electronic music since releasing his first 12" record in 1999. His many aliases and side projects, such as Sektor and Redshape, have incorporated elements such as minimal techno, acid, and electro. One of Semsroth's key releases under the Sleeparchive name is his 2006 album called 4 7 8 which was released on the influential label Tresor.His music often has a strong industrial influence that builds on the style of early Detroit techno. His sound has a strong focus on rhythm with plenty of low end frequencies that give his tracks a dark and sinister vibe. Over the years Semsroth's production style has evolved which has seen him become a respected DJ as well as a celebrated producer. Sleeparchive remains one of the most interesting and forward thinking producers in electronic music today.
