About Smash Mouth
Smash Mouth is an American rock band from California who formed in 1994. They are widely known for their hit song "All Star" which was released in 1999 on their album Astro Lounge. They received multiple nominations for awards throughout the 2000s including a Billboard Music Award for Modern Rock Track of the Year in 2001. Their fourth album, Smash Mouth, released in 2001 and went platinum in the US. Their other albums Have been consistently top charts in the US. Smash Mouth went on to appear in movies such as Shrek, and their songs have been featured in games such as Rock Band and The Sims 2. They continue to tour and release new music to this day.
