About Sophie May
Sophie May is an emerging singer-songwriter from Cornwall, UK, known for her deeply soulful vocals and powerful lyrics. May began writing and recording her own music at the age of 14 and self-released her debut EP 'A Little Here, A Little There' at age 15.
Recognising her talent for song-writing, an array of producers and collaborators soon began to reach out to help bring her songs to life and take her music to the next level. In 2019, May released her debut album 'Who Are You', which has gone on to become a regional success.
Her follow-up EP 'The Outsider' was heralded by press and fans alike for its vivid lyrics, and showcased her love of exploring new musical territories according to her creative instincts. Singles from this project such as 'Can't Stand By' and 'Free' were picked up on radio stations across the UK.
