Stoned Jesus is a Ukrainian doom/stoner metal group from Kiev. The band is one of the pioneers of the stoner/doom movement in the post-Soviet scene, creating heavy and expansive sounds rooted in rock, blues and psychedelia. Formed in 2009, the group released their debut album 'First Communion' in 2010. They followed up their success with their critically acclaimed album 'Seven Thunders Roar' in 2011. Since then the band has released four more studio albums and a number of EPs to great reception. They have played at some of the leading festivals, including Wacken Open Air in 2017, and toured extensively around Europe, North America and the UK in recent years.
