Summer Salt is an indie-surf rock band from Austin, Texas featuring singer and guitarist Matt Terry, bass guitarist Jorge Sotomayor, guitarist/keyboardist Eugene Chung, and drummer Niko Kotsatos. Their sound has been described as “sunny and wistful” with a mixture of ’60s surf rock, Beach Boys-esque vocal harmonies, and a chilled out take on classic soulful indie pop. Their debut self-titled EP was released in 2016 and gained them a following from fans of indie rock. Since then, the band has released two full studio albums.
