Their debut self-titled album was released in 2013 and debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and certified gold in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and the UK. The 1975 has had 6 albums, 6 extended plays, and 19 singles as of 2021. Their music has been described as 'alternative rock laced with synth-pop, funk, and hip-hop'.
