About The Allman Betts Band
The Allman Betts Band is an American Blues/Rock/Country music group from Savannah, Georgia. Founded in 2018, the band consists of Devon Allman, Duane Betts, Berry Oakley Jr., Johnny Stachela, John Ginty, Chuck Leavell, and Matt Plaskow. The group released their debut studio album, Down To The River, in 2019, which reached number one on the Billboard Regional and Blues Albums chart. Their second studio album, Bless Your Heart, was released in 2020 and features guest appearances from notable names in the music such as John Prine, Willie Nelson, and Rob Ickes. The Allman Betts Band has seen success at major events like South by Southwest, the Peach Music Festival, and the Lockn' Music Festival. They use their platform to raise awareness for the Allman/Betts Foundation which funds music education and mental health initiatives in their home state of Georgia.
