The Courettes are a garage rock duo made up of German singer and guitarist Hannah Wagner and Danish drummer and backing vocalist Greta Carbo. They began playing music together in 2015 in Copenhagen and released their debut album, We Are the Courettes, in November 2017. Since then they have played shows extensively at renowned music festivals such as SXSW and Primavera, as well as on numerous tours across Europe, Japan, and North America. With a distinctly vintage sonic aesthetic and influences ranging from Girl Groups and 60's Ye-Ye Scene, to Rockabilly, Soul, Garage and Psychobilly, The Courettes have become one of the most memorable bands of recent years. Their latest album, Dance with the Devil, was released on April 24th 2020.
