About The East Pointers

The East Pointers avatar

The East Pointers are an award-winning Canadian folk band that have been creating music since 2012. They are made up of brothers Tim Chaisson and Koady Chaisson, and multi-instrumentalist Jake Charron. Their music carries on the traditional, maritime style of Celtic music, while incorporating modern influences such as indie and pop. The East Pointers have released three albums: Secret Victory (2015), What We Leave Behind (2017), and the internationally acclaimed EP EP (2020). They have toured all over the world, performing in various festivals and venues, and have received numerous awards, including the 2018 Canadian Folk Music Award for “Ensemble of the Year”.
